SBR Conference Room | February 20, 2026 – The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike Revilla, convened a coordination meeting with representatives from the Department of Transportation (DOTr), the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA), a housing representative, and the Cavite Extension Project Team to discuss updates on the implementation of the LRT Line 1 Cavite Extension.
Among the attendees were Mayor Strike Revilla, Atty. Marie Kate Encarnado (Office of the Accounting and Internal Audit Services), Ms. Rhowena Alcantara (CPDC Head), and Engr. Mike Jimenez (CEO Representatives). Representing DOTr were Jan Clarence Dy-Liacco, Christian Espiritu, Keneth Corpuz, Christian Baylon, and Consuelo Cinense, while LRTA was represented by Anthony Amac, Rechelle Cacatian, and Jayson Yap.
Key Agenda Items Discussed:
Bacoor LGU Requests on Talaba and NOMO Stations – Including the proposed feasibility study for the NOMO Station
Change in Location of Niog Station Intermodal and Access Road
Fund Utilization pursuant to MOAs – Covering the Niog Access Road, Informal Settler Families (ISF) Resettlement, and Clearing of Structures
The meeting highlights the strong collaboration between Bacoor LGU and national government agencies to ensure the successful and timely completion of the LRT-1 Cavite Extension — a major infrastructure project that will significantly benefit Bacooreños and neighboring communities.
