The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike Revilla through the City Livelihood and Development Department headed by Ms. Carmelita Gawaran, met with TESDA Region IV-A officials on February 9, 2026 at the Strike Conference Room to propose a project that will bring digital literacy training directly to communities through a Mobile Computer Center.
Present during the meeting were Mayor Strike Revilla, RD Engr. Jovencio M. Ferrer (TESDA IV-A), Jai Ibasco (TESDA R4-A), Ms. Emilia C. Amparo (TESDA Cavite), Rem Del Rosario, Ian Sosa, Aldrin Avanilla, and the City Livelihood Staff.
This initiative aims to enhance the digital skills of Bacoor residents—especially the youth and underserved communities—by providing accessible computer-related training. Through the Mobile Computer Center, technical and vocational education will reach out-of-school youth, low-income individuals, and other marginalized groups.
Under the proposed partnership, the LGU will provide two buses for Districts 1 and 2, while TESDA will supply the equipment, computer systems, instructors, and related expenses.
Together, the City Government of Bacoor and TESDA continue to work hand in hand in empowering our people for success in the digital age.
