Once this section of CALAX is completed, the interchange will provide direct access to the expressway, giving motorists a convenient route toward CAVITEX and Manila, or in the opposite direction toward SLEX and Laguna.
Development around Open Canal is also becoming increasingly noticeable. New townships, residential communities, and commercial developments are emerging in the area, including SM General Trias along Open Canal Road.
The communities surrounding this corridor are becoming more active and connected. With improved accessibility brought by CALAX and continued development in the area, land values are also likely to appreciate over time.
What was once simply a road connecting communities is gradually becoming an important growth corridor between Imus and General Trias and soon, a major gateway to CALAX.
And while we often admire the finished roads, interchanges and structures, it is also worth remembering the many hands working behind the scenes to build them.
Infrastructure changes places. It improves connectivity, encourages development, and opens new opportunities for the communities around it.
