CALABARZON, Philippines — The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 4-A, in partnership with its Provincial Offices in Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon, will stage the 13th KALAKAL CALABARZON Regional Trade Fair on June 24-28, 2026 at the Palm Drive Activity Center, Glorietta 2, Ayala Center, Makati City, bringing together some of the region’s most promising micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) under the theme “Galing Lokal Hanggang Global.”
Since its inception in 2014, KALAKAL CALABARZON has served as a premier platform for promoting and marketing products from CALABARZON-based enterprises. The annual trade fair provides MSMEs with opportunities to showcase their products, connect with institutional buyers, expand their market reach, and generate sales through direct selling and order-taking activities.
This year’s trade fair will feature 50 DTI-assisted MSMEs from across the region, representing various sectors and priority industry clusters. These enterprises are beneficiaries of DTI programs and services, including the One Town, One Product (OTOP) Next Gen Program, Shared Service Facilities (SSF) Program, Kapatid Mentor ME (KMME) Program, Negosyo Center (NC) Program, and the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP).
The event aims to strengthen market opportunities for participating MSMEs, support their business sustainability efforts, and increase consumer appreciation for locally manufactured products and services. It also seeks to facilitate business matching activities between exhibitors and institutional buyers while generating at least PhP 5 million in sales.
DTI 4-A Regional Director Marissa C. Argente underscored the importance of empowering local enterprises and elevating their competitiveness in both domestic and international markets.
“The theme ‘Galing Lokal Hanggang Global’ reflects the remarkable journey of our MSMEs—from nurturing local talents and industries to achieving broader market opportunities beyond our borders. Through KALAKAL CALABARZON, we continue to provide avenues for our entrepreneurs to showcase their innovation, quality, and resilience, proving that products proudly made in CALABARZON can compete and thrive in the global marketplace,” said Director Argente.
Over the years, KALAKAL CALABARZON has evolved to adapt to changing market conditions. From its physical staging at major commercial venues such as SM Megamall, Festival Mall, Glorietta, and Shangri-La Plaza, to its online editions during the COVID-19 pandemic through digital platforms, the trade fair has consistently supported the growth and market expansion of CALABARZON MSMEs.
As DTI Region 4-A continues to champion entrepreneurship and inclusive economic growth, the 13th KALAKAL CALABARZON Regional Trade Fair stands as a testament to the region’s thriving MSME sector and its readiness to seize opportunities in both local and global markets.
The public, institutional buyers, business partners, and industry stakeholders are invited to visit the trade fair and discover the exceptional products and services that showcase the creativity, innovation, and excellence of CALABARZON enterprises.
